Remembrance Sunday

Remembrance Sunday is held on the 2nd Sunday of November every year. This year it takes place on Sunday 12th November. Remembrance Sunday is a time to acknowledge the fallen soldiers of WW1 and WW2 and the thousands of brits that have died since 1945. We wear poppies at this time because these were the flowers that were growing at the battlefield after WW1. The children have been very creative this week making poppies to take home.
